	Membership It's free to join ym.com. Membership means you can post to boards, enter chats, and get our weekly e-mail newsletter with updates about the site, contests, and more. Smart Online Behavior When you're using the boards or chat rooms, please be smart about the information you share. Complete the registration form carefully. You should make up a member name that is fictitious and completely different from your real name, so your privacy is protected. Any information that you post will become public and can be collected and used by anyone. For this reason, do not post any messages that reveal what our lawyers call "personally identifying information." That means keep your name, age, home address, phone number, school, height, weight, and other private information private. And we probably don't have to tell you, but we'll say it anyway: Please use good judgment and taste when posting your messages. This is a community, and you're a member of it. Sure, you can rant and rave if you've got something you want to get off your chest, but if you do forget your manners and post anything that we deem offensive, abusive, threatening, libelous, fraudulent, obscene, vulgar, or pornographic — or anything otherwise unlawful, or just plain gross — we may delete or edit the message. The same goes for anything you post that includes a virus, or that keeps others from enjoying the boards, or that invades someone's privacy or violates copyright or other intellectual property rights. If you don't abide by these standards, we have the right to kick you off the boards and bar you from the community pages entirely. And you don't want that, do you? Why Won't It Work? Are you using AOL version 5.0 or higher, Netscape Version 4.5 or higher, or Internet Explorer Version 4.0 or higher? Because ym.com will support only these browsers. If your browser isn't upgraded, you can download the most recent version of it for free from the Netscape, IE, or AOL sites. Forgotten Password Forgot your password? No problem. Click on the "I forgot my password" link from any of the community pages and type in your e-mail address and member name. We'll e-mail you your password.
