The perfect shade of pink; Kate Moss has a new partner; score plump lips with ease; and Lauren Conrad's modeling job.
The Perfect Pink Pout
Want to find a great shade of pink lipstick? Check out Lancôme Le Rouge Absolu in Proenza Pink (shown), a new shade created exclusively for Proenza Schouler. Makeup artist Gucci Westman Neville, who is also Lancôme's international artistic director, worked with designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough to create the ideal shade for their spring 2007 runway show. She said she was going for a "Pretty in Pink meets Blue Crush" kind of look a fresh, vivid pink. Proenza Pink will be available in limited quantities for $25, so visit www.lancome-usa.com for your very own tube.
Kate Moss' New Partner
Coty, the world's largest fragrance company, just got supermodel Kate Moss to join its team. She'll develop and market her own line of signature fragrances, which will debut in fall 2007, first in Europe and the Middle East, then on to the United States and Canada. Moss joins other stars like Marc Jacobs, Sarah Jessica Parker and Vera Wang as a member of the Coty family, although technically, as the face of Rimmel, Coty's cosmetic's line, she's already been in the fold.
Lauren Conrad Hits Her mark
Could LC be any busier? The star of The Hills just landed a very cool side gig: She's the new face of mark, the beauty line from Avon. She'll appear in Avon's magalog and online, and collaborate with projects down the road in both fashion and beauty. This is all on top of her fashion classes, job at Teen Vogue, and of course, onscreen work, too. Clearly the woman's got energy to burn!
Plump It Up
Celebs love DuWop's Lip Venom, a lip gloss that helps make lips look full and flush. Now DuWop has launched Lip Venom 2nd Sin, another blend to help give you a bee-stung pout. It's got a mixture of essential oils like cinnamon, wintergreen, and ginger that increases the circulation to the lips, plus anti-oxidants like pomegranate and white tea extracts, as well as some other plumping agents. DuWop says that with repeated use, your lips will have a noticeably larger pout. For $27, it's certainly more reasonable (not to mention safer and less gross or creepy) than a collagen injection, and can be picked up at www.duwop.com.
