Celebs like Rihanna have been photographed with bright, canary yellow nail polish. Would you wear this summer trend?
Totally. I like taking a bit of a risk, especially with something pretty minor like a manicure.
No, that just sounds like too much. I prefer subtle nails, like clear or pale pink.

How long does it take you to do your hair?
"I was just curious about how much time you guys spend doing your hair because if I flat iron my hair, it can take up to an hour. I wish I could do my hair in like 15 minutes."...read more

From the hundreds of letters you sent, it looks like your favorite beauty shop is your very own kitchen and medicine cabinet. From egg whites to Visine eye drops, you told us all your secrets for looking good. Here are the best of the bunch:

Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque is the best! I use it once a week and it clears up breakouts, gets rid of clogged pores, and absorbs oil. Plus, you can find it in Wal-Mart!

If you have broken skin on your face from popping a zit and concealer won't work, use eyeshadow that matches your skin tone to cover it up.

What I use to get my hands really soft is a homemade hand cream. You'll need: plain yogurt and unsalted chopped pecans. To make your hands smell really good, add a tsp. of rosewater. Here are the directions:
  1. Put 2 tablespoons of yogurt into a bowl
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of finely chopped pecans and rosewater (optional)
  3. Mix ingredients
  4. Rub the mixture on your hands and let sit for 5 minutes.
  5. Rinse off

Before any special occasions, I always use this homemade mask. I buy non-flavored, non-dyed gelatin and mix with water. Then I apply it to my face. When it's dry, I peel it off. It leaves you with a refreshed feeling and a shining glow.
— Louise, New Orleans, Louisiana

My at-home face mask includes avocado, milk, and sugar. I don't follow any exact measurements, but the avocado and milk soothe, smooth, and nourish my skin, while the sugar acts as an exfoliator.

You know that awful red that your skin turns whenever you get your eyebrows waxed? All you do is put some Visine Tear Drops on a cotton ball and dab it on all the red places. Wait at least 15 minutes before you put on concealer or cover-up.
— Camille, Memphis, Tennessee

If you want really soft, beautiful skin, smear egg whites all over your face. It works like a charm!
— Sherryl, Minot, North Dakota

To relieve a sunburn, mix a teaspoon of honey with aloe vera gel. Leave it on the burn for a few minutes and then rinse with cool water.
— Leanne, Kokomo, Indiana
