A new study shows that by age 15, daily physical activity is down to approximately 50 minutes during the week, and 30 on weekends, which is a major drop from young kids, who are active about three hours a day. Do you have an active lifestyle?
Yes, I am often running around, or exercising, or just moving in some way.
No, I'm probably about average. Between schoolwork, after-school jobs, and trying to catch up with friends, it's impossible to find time to be active more than that.

I Hate Wearing Swimsuits
I'm totally freaked about wearing a swimsuit at the beach. I think everyone's looking at me and I just feel gross.

The truth is that no one really feels that great in a swimsuit. Being a little nervous and uncomfortable about showing off your body is totally normal. And even though you might think you stand out, chances are everyone else is far too busy worrying about how they look to even notice you! But let's say they do notice you. What's the worst that can happen? If you don't look totally, absolutely, 100% perfect in your bathing suit, are people going to be talking about you behind your back? Will they stop being your friend because of how you look in a swimsuit? Um, probably not. Would you do that to someone else? It may be that you're stressing about other people's reactions more than you really should be. Lastly, remember too that there are tons of different swimsuits out there — some with built-in bras or boy shorts, or funky patterns on top — so take the time to try on lots of different styles, and you're likely to find something to flatter your shape, whatever it is. Listen, no one's got a perfect body — the key is to feel as comfortable with yours as you can. Your self-confidence will shine through.
