Do you consider some of the people you meet and talk to only online to be your friends?
Sure! If we spend a lot of time talking, what does it matter if we've met in person or not?
No. I might enjoy having conversations with people online, but I don't consider someone my friend unless I've spent time with them in person.
How Responsible Are You?
Can you be trusted with the important things, or do your friends refuse to even dare lend you a lip-gloss?

Kanye Doesn't Want You to Drop Out
Even though musician Kanye West did quite well for himself as a dropout, he'd actually rather that people stay in school. According to The New York Times, the artist has started the Kanye West Foundation, whose goal is to keep kids in high school. Kanye believes that adding music classes to the curriculum will keep more students in class, and his foundation will work towards doing just that. The foundation will be dedicated on February 10, the one-year anniversary of the release of "College Dropout."

What Makes Valentine's Day So Bad?
You may foolishly think that so long as you've got someone special to be with on V-Day, all will be well. Au contraire! According to a survey done by online jeweler BlueNile.com, 19% of respondents said that getting a bad gift or no gift was their worst Valentine's Day experience. Another eight percent said giving a lousy gift was their worst experience. For anyone who needs some serious help, here are some examples from BlueNile's list of particularly bad presents: Vacuums, paper shredders, pencil sharpeners, cans of soup, and, no we're not joking, cold pizza. So, hopefully whoever you are with on February 14, the day will be filled with great loot.

Underwear Under Attack
Even though we agree that having thongs sticking out over a pair of low-riding jeans isn't very fashionable, we aren't sure that it qualifies as a crime. (Unless you count crimes of fashion.) But according to the Associated Press, Virginia lawmakers are so unhappy about seeing underwear as outerwear that they're actually going to start fining people for it. According to the bill, if you are "lewd or indecent" in the way your underwear shows, you're on the hook for $50. According to the sponsor of the bill, Del. Algie T. Howell, he's only doing what the voters asked for, claiming people are highly offended by seeing other people's underwear.
