A nice, cute guy asks you out, but you know he has no cash, no car, no nothing. Do you say yes?   Of course. We can just hang out, go for a walk and spend quality time together. Who cares whether he's got money to take me out? Besides, I can pay our way if we want to do something special.   I'd say yes, and happily chip in occasionally, but after we've been dating a while, I might hint that he look into a part-time job just so we can do some stuff that costs money.   No chance. I'm sorry, but not being able to go out to eat, or hit a club, or go for drives, or get a gift from him, or anything? He may be a good guy but that sounds lame! 3. You dream of being a fashion designer, and apply for a summer internship apprenticing at Marc Jacobs. You get the job, but discover it doesn't pay. What do you do?   Ask them if you can work part-time, and then get another job doing something that pays.   Say no way. You deserve to be paid for the work you do; it's not charity.   Take it anyway, and live on Ramen for the next year. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. 4. What do you hope to get out of college?   To score great grades and stellar recommendations so that when I graduate, I can get any job I want, or maybe just go right back to biz school.   I want to make friends, learn and explore what interests me most.   I'd like to find a way to give back to others.
