Who: Seth Cohen, played by Adam Brody
In five words his character is: The quirky, naïve, nice guy
Who is he? Adam grew up in San Diego, where he spent his time surfing and hanging out with his friends. The 23-year-old knew he wanted to act, though, and managed to convince his parents to let him enroll in a college in L.A. He never made it to school — instead he hired a private acting coach and a manager and started a career in TV and movies.
Where we've seen him: Growing Up Brady, Now What?, Smallville, Gilmore Girls, The Ring.
Why we like to watch him: His quirkiness might make him the geek of O.C., but as far as we're concerned his witty one-liners and kooky behavior make him irresistible. We also love the way he supports Ryan — even when the rest of the world is against him. His eternal quest for coolness and to be noticed by Summer make us root for him, even though secretly we think he's far too good for her anyway.
