High-waisted, flared jeans (think '70s-style) is a huge trend, with celebs like Hilary Duff, Keira Knightley and Rachel Bilson seen wearing the look. Do you think they look cute?
Yes, I love them. They're really flattering and don't show half your butt when you bend over, either.
No, I like a more traditional leg, like boot cut or straight leg jeans.

DIY Bleach Pen
Instant Style With a Laundry Room Favorite
When Clorox sent us its new Bleach Pen designed to remove small stains, I realized that it was so much more than a household cleaning product — it was an awesome opportunity to get crafty! I decided to take a few ordinary things — undies, a bag, sneakers, and a pillowcase — and have a little fun.

The basics (what you need to know, no matter what you make):
1. Decide which end of the pen best suits your needs. (Narrow tip for precise jobs, wide tip for larger jobs.)

2. Shake the pen.

3. Open the pen (be sure you only have one side open at a time) and gently squeeze to apply the bleach gel to the material.

4. Leave the bleach on for 10 minutes (give or take, depending on the darkness of the material) and dab off the bleach gel with a paper towel.

5.Rinse and let dry.

Let your creativity go wild, or use these ideas to help get you started.
Personalize Your Personals

I wanted to get personal with my personals, and I knew that my boring, black boy-cut undies would be the ultimate canvas to confess my love. Since I'm obsessed with the gorgeous Orlando Bloom, I wrote "I love Orlando" on the back of my underwear. Never mind wearing my heart on my sleeve, I'll be wearing it on my bum from now on. Or, if that sounds too sappy to you, use the bleach pen to add your monogram to your T-shirt pocket. Or, write your name on the back pocket of your jeans. It's all up to you!

Doodle on Denim

Fix up your old clothes and bags by adding symbols and designs. I've always been in love with stars and consider it my personal symbol. So, I took a plain denim bag, bordered it with stripes, and added a big star to the corner. Now there will always be a little bit of me to carry around. Artistically challenged? Use a stencil to avoid any accidents. Also, try making a statement by writing your own message. Maybe write, "Punk Rules!" on a tank, or "I'm Yours" on the bum of a denim skirt. Send a message with style!

Spruce Up Sneakers

Put some spin into that old pair of canvas shoes and use the bleach pen to draw flames, polka dots, or a check print on your sneaks.

Room Redo

Use the pen to rev up some old pillowcases, bedsheets, or curtains. Try writing the lyrics to your favorite song on your curtains (but ask your mom or dad first), or if you're feeling original, why not guarantee... yourself some sweet dreams and write a nice poem on your pillowcase?

And, of course, being the complete klutz that I am, the Bleach Pen also comes in handy when I spill ketchup on my white tee during my daily basket of fries. I just whip it out of my purse, dab it on, and it does the job! At three bucks a pop, the new Clorox Bleach Pen can be found at your local grocery store, so get bleachin'.

ym magazine is having a Clorox Bleach Pen giveaway. You can win your very own personalization kit, complete with Bleach Pen, denim bag, stencils, gems, buttons and more. Check out the December issue of ym for details.
