Riveting in Red One color seemed to rule the red carpet at February's Academy Awards: red. Katherine Heigl, Miley Ray Cyrus, and Anne Hathaway (our favorite) all looked stunning in the bold shade. It makes us think, "What an obvious choice for prom!" It's eye-catching, sexy, confident, and flattering on so many skin tones. It's the perfect way to capture and hold everyone's eye on your big night. There are plenty to choose from out there, like this affordable As U Wish Origami Bubble Dress at www.nordstrom.com. |

Heidi Montag's Fashion Gig The Hills star Heidi Montag has her eye on the fashion industry, just like her equally ambitious series mates. So she's collaborating with the Anchor Blue retail chain on a new apparel line, as well as the accompanying ad campaign, according to WWD. They're hoping to appeal to fashion-forward 16- to 21-year-olds with the Heidiwood line of apparel and accessories, which are reasonably priced from $10 to $60. Check stores mid-April to purchase the pieces (there's another collection slated for fall). |

Heidi Klum Teams Up With Jordache You've probably seen the sexy ads superstar Heidi Klum does for Jordache Jeans, which have gone so well that she's been asked to do her own collection, called Heidi Klum by Jordache. The 20-piece collection (the theme, reports WWD, is Naughty and Nice) features denim, blouses, knit tops and sundresses.
Even though she's a supermodel, Klum is practical. She focused on making sure the clothing was comfortable and not so revealing that it could veer into inappropriate. (Good call, Heidi!) Look for the line this April, exclusively at Bloomingdale's, with other stores selling the clothing come fall. |
