High-waisted, flared jeans (think '70s-style) is a huge trend, with celebs like Hilary Duff, Keira Knightley and Rachel Bilson seen wearing the look. Do you think they look cute?
Yes, I love them. They're really flattering and don't show half your butt when you bend over, either.
No, I like a more traditional leg, like boot cut or straight leg jeans.

New ways to be stylish — and eco-conscious; Penelope Cruz and Kylie Minogue do design; and the latest Project Runway report.
I'm Not a Plastic Bag
Here in the United States, we go through 100 billion plastic shopping bags annually, which is definitely not helping the environment. Pick up this adorable, limited-edition 'I'm not a plastic bag' shopping tote from leading U.K. accessories designer Anya Hindmarch and you'll look fashionable on your way back from the grocery store. After Keira Knightley was snapped using the tote in London, people waited in line for hours (and actually broke into a run when the store opened up!) for their chance to get their own. The bags prove that being stylish and socially responsible can go hand in hand. If you like the look — and, more importantly, like how it helps the environment — get on it! The bags only cost $15 and will be available to pre-order online on www.anyahindmarch.com staring May 7, after which time you can pick them up at the We Are What We Do Web site, www.wearewhatwedo.org.
Speaking of Eco-Fashion
We also love the new tees from Local Celebrity, which read "Respect Your Mother" (as in Mother Earth). The cute and clever slogan is cheeky and makes a statement. Printed on 100% organic cotton using eco-friendly water-based inks, these $28 tees help raise money for Global Green USA to help fight global warming. Head on over to www.localcelebrity.com to check out the tops (made for men and women). They're perfect to wear when you head over to Live Earth concerts this summer!
Kylie Makes a Splash for H&M
Aussie superstar Kylie Minogue has been tapped by H&M to help do an Australian-inspired beachwear line, which hits stores mid-May. With playful colors and patterns — and at the customary reasonable H&M prices — the items will look adorable on the beach. You'll be doing good when you grab a Kylie bikini, too — ten percent of the sales will be donated to WaterAid, the international charity dedicated to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people.
Penélope Cruz's Collection
Another star set to enter the world of design is actress Penélope Cruz, who with her younger sister Monica, also an actress, is planning to create a 25-piece collection for the Spanish chain Mango. They will also model for the store's upcoming advertising campaign. But this is no vanity project; the duo have real fashion cred. They own a store in Madrid called Amarcord, which sells brands the Cruz sisters like, and they also have a line of jewelry and handbags they've done for Japanese store Samantha Thavasa.
Gunn Fun
Whew! It looks like Project Runway sage Tim Gunn will be back for the fourth season of Bravo's hit show. He'll be joining returning judges Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and, of course, Heidi Klum. Gunn is going to have to make time in his incredibly busy schedule for the show, though — he recently took a job as chief creative officer of Liz Claiborne, and he's got his own Bravo series, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style. PR's season four will air this summer, so we'll all get our Gunn fix very, very soon.
