Meet the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Cast
The stars of the new movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants recently came to New York's Planet Hollywood to present costumes they wore on the film for the restaurant's memorabilia collection. While there, they spent a few minutes talking about their new movie and what it meant to them. Name: America Ferrera Plays: Carmen Where you've seen her:Real Women Have Curves and in the new film Lords of Dogtown, which opens the same day as Sisterhood. Cool quote:"This movie is so empowering! I feel so grateful to Ann [Ann Brashares, author of the 'Sisterhood' books] for creating this story about girls who are strong, who are self-possessed. I think girls are in real life, but we're not used to seeing that in the media. This story really respects the strength that it takes just to grow up."

Name: Blake Lively Plays: Bridget Where you've seen her: Uh, maybe walking around her hometown of Tarzana, CA? Otherwise, nowhere — this is Blake's first movie role. When she was done shooting, she went back to finish her senior year of high school. Cool quote: "You don't see that in teen movies usually, not young women loving one another and having this great friendship and bond. Making the film put such a high value on female friendship and it made me long for more of it. It changed my life."
